What is the biggest Thailand music festival?

The biggest music festivals in Thailand are Tomorrowland Thailand, EDC Thailand, Wonderfruit and Big Mountain in December, and the Songkran festivals in April. When does Tomorrowland land at Wisdom Valley?

Tomorrowland Thailand runs from 11 to 13 December 2026 at Wisdom Valley near Pattaya, and the 2026 edition is sold out.

It's not a one-off. Thailand's Cabinet approved a five-year deal to host Tomorrowland every year from 2026 to 2030. The 2027 dates aren't out yet.

When does EDC light up Rhythm Park?

EDC Thailand is on 18 to 20 December 2026 at Rhythm Park in Phuket. On 2 November 2026, 3-day Early Owl passes were ฿10,490 for general admission and ฿16,490 for VIP on EDC's official ticket page.

It's three nights at Rhythm Park, 3pm to midnight, and the third edition. EDC Thailand has the lineup, and EDC Thailand vs EDC Korea compares Asia's two EDCs.

What is Wonderfruit?

Wonderfruit is five days of music and art at The Fields at Siam Country Club outside Pattaya, from 3 to 7 December 2026, a week before Tomorrowland.

What is Big Mountain Village?

Big Mountain Village is Thailand's big Thai-music festival, the new name for the Big Mountain Music Festival. It runs on 12 and 13 December 2026 at Farm Chokchai 3 in Pak Chong, near Khao Yai.

The Special Cow 2-day pass is ฿2,100, on sale until 11 December, and the VIP Cow pass ฿4,000. A car camping plot costs ฿5,000, entry not included.

Which music festivals are on at Songkran?

The Songkran music festivals mix water and EDM in Bangkok in April. SIAM Songkran Music Festival is confirmed for 10 to 13 April 2027 at Bravo BKK, with GA and VIP passes for 3 or 4 days.

S2O Songkran Music Festival hasn't announced 2027 yet. In 2026 it ran from 11 to 13 April at S2O LAND.

When is the Full Moon Party?

The Full Moon Party runs every month at Haad Rin on Koh Phangan. The organiser's next dates are Tuesday 24 November, Thursday 24 December and the New Year countdown on Thursday 31 December 2026. More island nights are in Koh Phangan festivals.

Since 10 March 2026, any party that lands on a major Buddhist holy day moves to the next day. That's why some 2027 dates sit a day after the full moon, like Monday 22 February 2027.

What smaller festivals are on in Thailand?

Beyond the big names, Thailand has a run of smaller festivals through the cool season.

• Halfmoon Festival: Tuesday 17 November 2026, Koh Phangan.
• Fly to the Moon: 29 December 2026 to 2 January 2027, Koh Mak.
• Imagine Festival: 30 December 2026 to 1 January 2027, Lanna Resort, Hang Dong, Chiang Mai.
• Gaia Beats: 22 to 24 January 2027, Sense Hot Spring, Mae On, Chiang Mai.

Which EDM festivals are on in 2026–27?

The EDM festivals in Thailand for 2026–27 run from the Full Moon Party in November to SIAM Songkran in April. December is the peak: Wonderfruit, Tomorrowland Thailand and EDC Thailand land three weeks in a row, from 3 to 20 December 2026.

January and February bring trance and beach festivals. UnKonscious plays four days of trance at Alexa Beach Club in Pattaya (expected 28 to 31 January 2027). Zamna Phuket sets up at Yeden Gardens in Phang Nga (expected 29 January 2027). Gladiators Fest Phuket mixes EDM and dance-pop at Lotus Arena on 6 and 7 February 2027.

Most EDM festivals here are 20+: EDC Thailand, S2O and Zamna all set 20 as the minimum age. Bring a physical photo ID, because EDC checks it at the gate. EDC also scans your wristband once a day, so there's no going out and back in.

When are Thailand's jazz festivals?

The jazz festivals in Thailand run from January to early June, and most nights are free. The 8th Chiang Mai Street Jazz Festival comes first, from 17 to 24 January 2027, with free entry: street jazz in the old town, mini-concerts in the jazz bars, then a main-stage night.

Next comes the Thailand International Jazz Conference, three days at the College of Music, Mahidol University in Salaya, from 29 to 31 January 2027. It was free to watch in 2026.

The Pattaya International Jazz Festival puts free nights on Pattaya Beach. Pattaya City hasn't set this season's dates yet; the last edition ran on 12 and 13 December 2025, from 4pm to midnight. Pattaya is about 2 hours from Bangkok by car.

In late April, Chiang Mai holds its jazz week. In 2026 it ran from 24 to 30 April in the jazz bars, then Chiang Mai International Jazz Day ran from 30 April to 2 May, free at five venues. Hua Hin Jazz City follows, usually from late May into early June, with live jazz in restaurants, resorts and cafés all over town. Both are expected again in 2027.

Which Thai music festivals are coming up?

Thai music festivals run from November 2026 to March 2027, and Big Mountain on 12 and 13 December is the biggest. Pick by sound: T-pop at CAT EXPO, luk thung and mor lam at Thairath Na Han and Muan Rangsit, and indie in the hills at Overcoat and Nang Len 10.

Mor lam is the folk music of Isan, the northeast, sung over the khaen, a bamboo mouth organ. Luk thung is Thai country music. Both pull big, happy crowds who sing every word.

Most Thai festivals sit outside Bangkok, in Khao Yai, Khao Kho, Chiang Mai or Isan, so the drive and the bed are the plan. Buy only from each festival's official seller, such as AllTicket (also at Counter Service in 7-Eleven), TICKETIER or Eventpop. Early Bird prices sell in short windows, so buy as soon as sales open.

How do you plan a Thailand festival trip?

Start with the festival days, then add the base, the cars and the extra days.

• Pattaya festivals (Wonderfruit, Tomorrowland): a Pattaya pool villa from ฿12,500 a day, and a party van from Bangkok for ฿3,500 each way, for up to 10.
• Phuket (EDC): a private pool villa from ฿18,500 a day, and a luxury van with a driver from ฿6,500 for 10 hours, for up to 4 guests.
• Landing in Bangkok: airport fast track at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang, ฿2,400 a person: a greeter meets you at the gate and walks you through the fast immigration lane.
