When are the fireworks this year?

The Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2026 is on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November, two nights over Pattaya Bay from Pattaya Central Beach. Show times and teams aren't out yet, so plan to be in place by early evening.

What is the Pattaya fireworks festival?

The Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is two nights of fireworks over the sea, fired from along Pattaya Beach. It's one of Pattaya's biggest weekends of the year, and the beach, the rooftops and the bay all fill up.

Expect big pyrotechnic displays and night-sky shows from teams of several countries; in 2025 the teams came from the Philippines, Malaysia, Germany, Finland and England. The 2026 teams haven't been announced yet. Ask Tanner which night suits your group.

Can you watch the fireworks from a boat?

Yes, and it's the best seat in Pattaya: your own boat on Pattaya Bay, right under the fireworks, away from the crowds on Beach Road, with only your group on board.

Where do you watch from on land?

On land, it comes down to the beach, a rooftop or a hotel. The fireworks go up over Pattaya Bay, and the crowd fills Pattaya Beach along Beach Road. Pick your spot:

• From the beach: free, along Pattaya Beach.
• From a rooftop: sky bars and rooftop restaurants facing the bay.
• From a hotel: sea-view rooms, and fireworks buffet dinners on beachfront hotel terraces for both nights.

Do rooftops and hotels sell out?

Yes. Sea-view rooms from North Pattaya to Pratumnak and Jomtien fill fast for the fireworks weekend, and rooftop tables facing the bay go early. Ask Tanner to lock in your room, your table or your boat now.

How do you get there from Bangkok?

Come down from Bangkok with your own driver, and you skip the hunt for a taxi on the busiest night of the year. A Bangkok–Pattaya party van is ฿3,500 each way, for up to 10. On the night:

• Arrive by the afternoon: you'll want to be settled in before the crowds arrive.
• Eat early: book a table with a bay view, or eat before you head down to the sand.
• Stay over: book a room or villa so you don't drive back to Bangkok after the show.
• Arriving: airport fast track at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang, ฿2,400 a person: a greeter meets you at the gate and walks you through the fast immigration lane.
• Getting there: your own luxury van with a driver from ฿6,500 for 10 hours, for up to 4.
• Your Pattaya base: a private Pattaya pool villa from ฿12,500 a day.

When is the 2027 festival?

The 2027 festival is expected at the end of November 2027, on a Friday and Saturday like this year. The dates come out closer to the time.
