Yes, the best seats go fast. For the 2025 race, more than 10,000 Grandstand seats sold out in under three minutes after the sale opened.
The crowds are bigger than ever. The 2026 race, won by Marco Bezzecchi on an Aprilia, drew a record 228,228 fans across the weekend, MotoGP says. Book your seats the minute the sale opens, and your room once your tickets are in. Ask Tanner to be ready for the sale.
What's race weekend in Buriram like?
Race weekend in Buriram is three days at the Chang International Circuit, with up to 100,000 fans around a 4.554km track with 12 corners and a 1,000m straight. Tanner's pick: take the Grandstand for all three days, or step up to MotoGP Premier hospitality, with the VIP Village lounge, paddock access and a pit lane walk.
Your van takes you from your hotel to the gate and back each day, so nobody drives after the race. Ask Tanner to plan the weekend.
How do you get to Buriram for MotoGP?
Fly from Bangkok's Don Mueang to Buriram Airport, or drive about five hours to the Chang International Circuit. A van lets the whole group travel together and stop when you like:
- Fly: Buriram Airport has flights from Bangkok's Don Mueang, and your driver takes you on to the Chang International Circuit.
- Drive: Buriram is about 400 to 410km northeast of Bangkok, roughly five hours by road.
- Your van: a luxury van with a driver from ฿6,500 for 10 hours, for up to 4 guests.
- Flying in from abroad: airport fast track at Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang, ฿2,400 a person: a greeter meets you at the gate and walks you through the fast immigration lane.
Tanner matches the cars to your group. Ask Tanner to set up the drive.
Where should you stay for MotoGP Buriram?
For MotoGP Buriram, stay in Buriram for the race days so the gate is a short drive each morning, and book your room as soon as your tickets are confirmed. Rooms go fast on race weekend.
Add Bangkok days before or after the race. A private pool villa costs from ฿18,500 a day, and a van covers the drive both ways. Ask Tanner to add the Bangkok days.
When is the Buriram pre-season test?
The Buriram pre-season test runs on 6 and 7 February 2027, a month before the race. It's the official MotoGP pre-season test at the Chang International Circuit.
Test tickets are sold separately and cost far less: a Grandstand seat is ฿500 a day or ฿900 for both days. Ask Tanner if the test fits your trip.
Plan the whole race weekend
Plan your trip around the race weekend of 5 to 7 March 2027, and lock in your tickets early: they go on sale on 9 November 2026 at 2pm.
- Get there: your van and driver for the drive and every race day.
- Before or after: a private pool villa in Bangkok for the days around the race.
See sport in Thailand for the other big races, more festival trips in Thailand, and every holiday and long weekend in Thailand public holidays 2027. Plan it with Tanner with your dates and group size, and he builds the whole trip.
